I recently bought a drawing board at a flea market for $ 20. This is a Hamilton 72 "x 37 1 / 2" and it seems the 1960 is a greenish-brown with two drawers. Solid wood panel is a green cover Vyco that is warped and needs replacement. There are surprisingly few scratches, but has a little 'rust on the foot rest. Overall, this is amazing and a new desk because it would cost me to buy for $ 1000. I am a total budget for the project, around $ 250 targetincluding a new interface, new paint and hardware-Tilt. To avoid the worst I've repainting Rust-Oleum paint with Grey hammered. The chassis is all metal, but the drawers are made of wood. I will be using spray cans to trays and brush on the frame. This video shows the first coat on the little tray. As the face of the drawer is wood, I used a piece of cardboard to test the paint & layers 4-5 of the work appears. We apologize for the bad camera work, Ibegan to paint as you go through my screen and I noticed that iphone does not work. Maybe next time I am an assistant to hold the camera for me. (Incidentally, I know that my style of spray is less than perfect. I'm just showing you change the color and design documentation)
