Founded in 2003, the Award Richard H. Driehaus honors, promotes and encourages architectural excellence that applies the principles of traditional, classical and sustainable architecture and urbanism in contemporary society and the environment. It is presented annually by the University of Notre Dame School of Architecture presented to an architect in recognition of their outstanding work. In conjunction with the Driehaus Prize, Henry Hope Reed, the annual prize to recognize the contributionsProponents of the classical architecture of the operating system of reference tables and outside the practice of architecture.
