It does what you tell it to" ~Professor Steve Leeb, 6.115 Lecture #2 I made this 2 axis CNC drawing table for my 6.115 (Microcomputer Project Labratory) final project at MIT. It uses DC motors with quadrature encoders to follow a path at a constant feed rate using velocity control. A Perl script (credit to Ryan TerBush) converts G-code generated from a DXF into a list of points to define the path.
